With more than 25,000 registered students on our platform from Ghazipur alone within just 3 months of the initiative’s inception, Learning with Vodafone took part in a significant event in Ghazipur in the month of October last year. It was a proud feeling to be a part of another huge event in the same district all over again in the presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri. Manoj Sinha and Shri. Sunil Bansal from BJP.

Held in Lanka Maidan, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh in May 2018, Gatisheel Ghazipur was touted as a key event honouring the development in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh in the past 4 years.

The team was not just a part of the festivity but we also set up a stall to help parents and students understand the benefits of Learning with Vodafone and assist them in registering on the portal to achieve their academic goals.

Mr. Sinha and Mr. Bansal visited our stall, where our State Coordinator, Mr. Abdul Malik, started to explain them about the Vodafone Foundation’s initiative Learning with Vodafone. Mr. Sinha remembered our initiative from the last event and explained it to Mr. Bansal. He also told Mr. Bansal that Learning with Vodafone has helped in the progress of Ghazipur in the domain of education by giving scholarships to over 3000 students.

Visitors queued outside our stall to support their children’s academic dreams. We helped them gain access to the world of scholarships in line with Mr. Sinha’s vision for Ghazipur’s growth. We saw a footfall of more than 2000 students and parents and helped over 300 students register on the portal in a single day. Team Learning with Vodafone including the State Coordinator, the Assistant State Coordinator, volunteers and campus ambassadors helped through the process and made our presence at the event a grand success.
