National Overseas Scholarship for Students with Disabilities is introduced by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. It invites application from students pursuing post graduation and Ph.D. courses abroad and whose age should be below 35 years. The objective of this program is to provide financial assistance to the disabled students for pursuing post graduation and Ph.D. programs abroad in the fields: Engineering & Management, Pure & Applied sciences, Agricultural science & Medicine, Commerce, Accounting & Finance, Humanities, Social science & Fine Arts. The selected students will receive maintenance allowance, tuition fees, air fare, contingency allowance, etc. The selection procedure involves the shortlisting of eligible candidates by the Screening committee for personal interview, after which a final merit list is prepared for the selected candidates.
